Hope Community Church

Our Mission

Going to the ends of the earth — bearing witness, building lives, and sharing hope across continents.

What We Believe About Mission

At Hope Community Church, mission sits at the very heart of who we are. We believe that faith is not passive — it moves, it serves, and it crosses borders. Rooted in Hinckley and reaching across the world, we partner with workers and communities who are bringing good news to places that need it most.

Our mission involvement spans prayer, practical support, financial giving, and hands-on trips. Every year, members of Hope travel overseas to serve alongside our long-standing partners — returning changed and with a deeper conviction that God is at work far beyond our local walls.

Below you will find the two mission fields we are currently most closely connected with. We would love you to read their stories, pray for them, and consider how you might play a part.

Our Mission Fields

Two countries. Two remarkable stories. One shared calling.

Romania

Satu-Nou, Bacău County

Our connection with Romania stretches back more than 30 years, rooted in a friendship with the Andronic family. Today, Simon Andronic pastors the very church his father planted in the rural village of Satu-Nou — and Hope members make regular trips to serve alongside him and his wife Oana.

The village is poor but the church is vibrant. Simon and Oana run youth sponsorship programmes, a dental mission clinic, and are developing a house for vulnerable children calledCasa Andrei.
